It’s about staying calm when emotions rise, holding space with confidence, and knowing how to gently guide a client back when they feel overwhelmed.
This 6 week live course is designed to help you do exactly that.
You’ll learn how to regulate your own emotional state as a coach, and how to support your clients in doing the same. Rooted in mindfulness, neuroscience, and ethical coaching practice, the course offers a mix of live guided practices, practical tools, and real-world scripts you can use immediately, led by Kate Greenslade, PCC Coach and Certified Mindfulness (MBSR) Teacher.
Whether you’re new to mindfulness or want to deepen your skills in using it professionally, this course will give you confidence, clarity and calm.
COURSE CONTENT
Delivered over 6 weekly 90 minute live sessions on Zoom with replays + resources.
WEEK 1 The Mindful Coach
Grounding yourself in presence and awareness
Mindfulness as a foundation for ethical, attuned coaching
Strengthening mind/ body connection and inner steadiness
WEEK 2 Understanding Emotion
How emotions are constructed
Window of Tolerance explained in practical terms
Spotting early signs of dysregulation in yourself and your clients
WEEK 3 Regulating in the Moment
Mindfulness tools to stay calm when emotions run high
Breath, body, and grounding techniques to return to the present
Simple scripts to gently co-regulate with your client
WEEK 4 Co-Regulation and Connection
The neuroscience of co-regulation and how it shows up in sessions
Using tone, breath and presence to steady the room
Permission based techniques for when emotions feel ‘too much’
WEEK 5 Supporting Your Clients with Mindfulness
Teaching clients simple tools they can use between sessions
Working with emotional avoidance and intrusion
Tools like the RAIN practice and metaphor work in coaching
WEEK 6 Integration and Practice
Coaching demos, reflection, and shared learning
Your personal integration plan
Staying resourced, reflective, and regulated as a coach

Kate Greenslade is a certified Mindfulness (MBSR) Teacher and PCC accredited coach with ICF. She has 8+ years’ experience helping people build a better relationship with themselves.
She’s taught mindfulness to coaching students, solopreneurs, and leaders across Europe and believes that staying present, aware, and emotionally steady is one of the most powerful things we can offer our clients.
